Roy Atkinson | Assistant City Administrator

Altoona, WI - The Altoona Public Library is pleased to announce a Community Engagement Session in support of our Flexible Facilities Program grant submission. This important meeting will take place in the Community Room at 1303 Lynn Ave, City Hall-Library at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 20th, 2024.

The purpose of this session is to gather input from our community members to shape the future design of the Altoona Public Library. We value the voices and opinions of our patrons and residents, and we encourage everyone to participate in this discussion. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the vision and design of a library that will serve our community's evolving needs.

"We are excited to hear from our community about what they envision for their library," said Roy Atkinson, Assistant City Administrator. "The Flexible Facilities Program grant offers us a chance to reimagine our space, making it more adaptable, welcoming, and responsive to the needs of Altoona residents. Your input is crucial in this process."

The engagement session will include a presentation on the Flexible Facilities Program, a review of our previously conducted space needs analysis designs and programming, and a facilitated discussion to gather ideas and feedback.
