Residents of Altoona with storm debris to dispose of are advised that the City of Altoona’s Green Waste Disposal and Metal Recycling Facility will operate on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Situated in the 800 block of Garfield Avenue, on the north side of the road, proof of residency is required for entry.
