In honor of Economic Development Week from May 8 - 14, 2016, the City of Altoona took the opportunity at the May 12th City Council meeting to personally thank developers for their contribution to our community.  The City recognized that economic developers are charged with generating economic growth, creating better jobs for residents and facilitating an improved quality of life.  Mayor Brendan Pratt and City Administrator Mike Golat presented certificates to developers as a token of appreciation for investing in our Altoona.
