Altoona, WI - On Monday, May 14, 2018, the Altoona Police Department donated two X2 Tasers to the law enforcement program at Chippewa Valley Technical College.

Police Chief Jesse James stated, "The donated tasers were being rotated out from our patrol division and will be used to train the law enforcement academy cadets.  This equipment will allow the students to train with up to date equipment and allow them to learn another version of the taser."

What is different about the E2 Taser is that it has two deployable cartridges, versus the X26 Taser, which deploys a single cartridge.
